Glo Coalson's Raku Pigeons

Colson created flocks of these iridescent-clay beauties in the '80s and '90s; I found one in a Housing Works auction here in New York this spring and she is the most beautiful creature in my apartment (don't tell my cats). I daydream about taking one of Glo's sculpture classes in Dallas.
